Do the Dawg fans think that they and much of the rest of the SEC are going to get more than a wrist slap over the current agent scandal? I wasn't too surprised by the implication of a star player from Alabama or Florida, but it was a little odd that the scandal blew up after North Carolina and South Carolina got involved in it.
Well it's all stemming from the same alleged weekend in Miami with shadowy agent figures so it's not surprising there would be players from several schools.
At this point, it's all speculation. I think the UGA visit is regarding AJ Green's possible involvement since his name has been thrown around. If so, he's the dumbest motherfucker alive. He's the best receiver in the country and a sure fire Top 10, maybe Top 5 pick next year depending on who's picking.
Regardless, yeah, if any of these players had illegal contact then there will certainly be suspensions and possible loss of eligibility.
I think that all this has come out right as SEC media days began is a good thing. There needs to be massive overhaul and rule change with regards to how big time players communicate with agents and how they approach their future in the NFL. Like Mike Slive has been saying, a light needs to shine on the dark underworld of all this.
