I met z on Thursday. He was nice enough to pick me up at my hotel and drive me to the restaurant and then bar that we went to.

Things I learned about z:

1) He's a vegetarian.
2) He drives a green VW.
3) His mother is a serial killer.
4) He has more vinyl than CDs.

i believe that we quickly assessed that she is a killer, but hasn't racked up enough bodies to be considered a serial killer.

It was basically just me making fun of an odd sentence construction. z bought something from someone via craigslist, and he had this to say about the wife of the seller: "She was afraid that everyone you meet online is a serial killer, like my mother." When I asked "your mother is a serial killer?" he said she wasn't, so that's when I concluded that she must just be a "normal" killer.

My neighbor Z sounds like a good guy. I'll have to hang out with him one of these days, when I'm not busy writing 2 papers at once.

I wish I had a green VW. My Geo is very close to death, but I can't complain too much because it cost free dollars.

That sounds like a damn good idea. The usual bowling crew (including yours truly) has been busy the last few Sunday nights (the usual bowling night at Lincoln Square Lanes), but we'll get it together one of these days.
