I wonder in 30 years what people will think of the influx of hipstomatic pics?

i guess that depends on what people. most serious photographers hate this kind of stuff and always will, the general public will probably always love it.

i think its a fun little tool, but definitely not a serious one. the hipstamatic group pool on flickr is filled with people taking pics of their ceiling fan, and think they're making art. that part is annoying.

That's kinda what I mean. I probably sound like a crotchety artist, but I remember in college going into the darkroom trying to get those effects. That said, I'm sure people before me probably lament my video editing, and adobe products.
