Quit gig in St. Louis last night after three songs. Said a bird shit on one of them and they considered that a medical emergency and a grave health hazard and walked off. Rumors around town are also saying it was mostly just the heat and they didn't wanna finish the show. Either way, pretty shitty move.

I went to a show there when it was still Riverport. It's funny that in all the years of that place being open, this seems to be the one public incidence of a bird or birds actually shitting on most if not every band on the line-up.
I find it hard to believe that the bird shit actually went into his mouth, that pretty much seems be improbable, and the fact that some folks in the comment section said it clearly hit his shoulder means he was most likely acting like a bitch.
I've only ever seen them open for Dylan and was paid to attend that one, but I would have been pretty pissed off if I had stood outside in high temps to see a headlining band and they completely bitched out.

I'm tired of this band. Mostly it's the stupid comments about my name, "Leon, like kings of leon", but also stupid shit like this. It's too bad because I thought that Because of the times was a pretty good record.

There's no way a bird shat IN this dude's mouth. From everything I've read and everyone I've spoken with who was there, all four of them dropped their instruments on cue after the third song and ran off stage. I'd think if it actually had happened the way they claim, it would've looked a little less planned then that.

please, if it was that bad, take a break, get some listerine and a BB Gun, get back on and finish the fucking show. No respect for their fans, the crew, hourly workers of the venue, etc...

For those defending these guys...people work outdoor jobs and get shit on by birds and other such things all the damn time and they make a hell of a lot less money for the trouble and they can't just go home and whine when they get dirty. I got no sympathy for these guys. Still, really liked their first 2 albums to be honest though
