yeah it's made by Saroosh, one of the founders of Vice. It's entirely a Vice product.

The band is pretty bad but the movie is pretty fucking good. The narrator/interviewer is a hipster douche though. Looks like he'd live in Brooklyn (Williamsburg of course). (Is Vice based in Brooklyn? I can't remember).

Mayhaps those douchenozzles Arcade Fire could join them. I am sure Canada would like to deport them. To wit: Winston Butler (could be Winfield, of course; if only I still hung with My Nemesis, I could have him ask his former bandmate Kyle Ryan (who grew up with the illustrious Springsteenian blue-collar rock superstar) what the AF frontman's name is) is a son of privilege from The Woodlands, Tex., -- I wouldn't be surprised to find out Enron money is involved in his family's fortune -- who needs to buy a fucking clue.

I finally saw this this weekend and it's so worth seeing. The Heavy Metal part is fun but it's really about the hell of civilian life in Iraq (and how insane the Vice guys are for going there!)
