Kevin and Anita Robison of Portland by way of Nashville by way of Muscle Shoals, AL, aka Viva Voce started this full-band side project a couple of years ago and I'm just now listening to their debut album, which Vanguard put out:

You can stream the full album HERE

Blue Giant includes members of Decemberists and The Sword.

It's not all that bad. Fans of Jenny Lewis, The Byrds and The Sadies family of country rock should at least check it out.

These guys are good live. Kind of a messier, rocking version of what they are on record. They're also playing as Bobby Bare Jr's backing band on the current tour.
