The Cults: Go Outside 7"

Just grabbed this single and am pretty much digging it. Kinda sounds like a poppier, breezier version of the XX. I get the feeling we are gonna be hearing a lot of bands in the next couple years having a hint of that sound.

A trio of hits collections, a little early 90s commercial/crossover reggae/dancehall for this evening. Shaggy, Maxi Priest and Shabba Ranks . Just fun stuff, and underrated I'd say.

I've been liking that Besnard Lakes album a whole lot.

The Vaselines: Sex with an X

Well, gotta say, I think I like new Vaselines better than old Vaselines. They can actually play a bit now without totally overdoing it. Their lyrics are better...or I'm just older too. The title track, Sex with an X is fantastic as is It Wasn't All Duran Duran. Whole thing is just good fun.
