Just took the DVDs out from my local library and, I know that I'm not telling any of you anything new, but this is maybe the greatest TV show of all time.
Almost certainly my next DVD purchase.

Bought the box set a while back and haven't cracked the plastic yet. Love what I have seen, though.

They've been showing it on IFC too, I believe at least on Monday nights.

Watched it in its entirety earlier this year thanks to Netflix. Would definitely purchase. Only the good shows die young.

Oh, and I would almost certainly be in love with Lindsay if I were in high school with her.

Yep, great show from the mind of Judd Apatow. I have several episodes DVR'd I need to watch. IFC did good to breathe some life back into it.

I see Dave "Gruber" Allen about once a month at Largo and I think I'm doomed to think of him forever as Mr. Rosso. The episode where George Bush (or was it Reagan?) comes to their school has one of my favorite TV moments ever.

Also, there's a lot of people that appear on this show LONG before they had any sort of acting careers (Rashida Jones, Lizzy Caplan, Ben Foster, etc...)

Rashida Jones as the bully was kind of jarring to see compared to Karen from The Office

IMO, she did a poor job with that character. Saw that ep recently.

does anyone know what the relationship is between freaks/geeks and party down? lots of actor crossover.

that's about it. Apatow still uses alot of the F&G cast for stuff, obviously, but he has nothing to do with Party Down.

Rob Thomas, Party Down's creator, had previously done Veronica Mars, which has just as much crossover, if not more.

Yet another huge fan of the show. We've been re-watching them on IFC the past few weeks. I don't own it, though. Think I might need to add that yearbook edition DVD to my Christmas list.
