Former leader of The Format ew band.
I saw that a couple of you have heard it and like it, but there is a distinct lack of chatter on here about them.
I loved Dog Problems.
Curious to hear about this new project from those who have heard them.
Anyone?

This is pretty good, even if the chorus is a bit disco.

Favorite album of the year. Not close. Track one is pretty miserable, but the rest of it is pure awesome. Tracks 6 + 7 together make about 7 minutes of the greatest pop music ever recorded.

I think it's a very solid album but doesn't hold a candle to Dog Problems which was my #1 of the year a couple of years ago. With Aim & Ignite, the whole thing is pretty solid but it's missing the really strong individual tracks Format albums had.

There was some talk on here before the album came out: http://www.obner.org/board/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=42359&start=0&hilit=Fun+The+format

Thanks for the link.
I am a piss-poor user of the Obner "search" function, so that is appreciated.

Love the record, which was in my top 10 of last year. I dig all the tracks, but "I Wanna Be The One" is my jam.

Missed them when they were here last week (Fun Fun Fun Fest pre-parties overruled them, plus it was sold out) and am kinda bummed I did.
