i only know what that means because my wife drinks seltzer water that described itself as pomplamouse flavor and I said "what the hell is a pomplamouse".

Anyway, that girl is really pretty but also looks like the older brother from Weeds so while I like the music I don't like how it makes me feel about myself. i'm going to check them out further anyway. reminds me of a little looser Hello Saferide. not loose in a slutty way, more like "loosey goosey" california way hey shut up.

it's fucking snowing here.

just checked this out this morning, and my thoughts are as follows:

-she is absolutely adorable
-the songs are right up my ally
-I'm annoyed that the only way to get their music right now is via myspace download
-how are they getting this level of production and video as unsigned indies?

What is that effect she uses on her vocals... autotune coupled with compression? Whatever it is, I want it banned from studio gear. It grates on my ears and that's on top of her stupid blank-stare "look" grating on my mind.

i think the vocal effect is just the natural result of her layering lots of takes of the similar harmony lines. Though I could be wrong about that.
