Apologies for not being as commonly present as I've been in the past. Ever since my sister and her kids moved in with me, it seems that I don't have as much time to be online than I used to. Yes, they're
still around (1 month, she said? Yeah, right...it's going on half a year). It's been a very trying experience and I have learned that my family is a lot more dysfunctional than I ever thought. The only thing I've asked from Santa this Christmas is to give me my house back. I've been good, haven't I?!
Sadly, I've not been to many shows. Though, did get to see Arcade Fire and Teenage Fanclub not too long ago.
No travel this year...no money. Tenants who do not pay rent = costly.
Was recently very sick with a horrible viral infection. After bragging that I hadn't even caught a simple cold in over five years, I got hit with a doozy! Luckily, it's almost gone - just a bit of a lingering cough. I think I'm set for another five years of healthy living. The bummer part of being sick is that I got to see Dri for all of a heartbeat this month and didn't even get a chance to chat with her.
Work is going fairly well. My assistant left earlier this year, got a new one who has worked out perfectly. His confidence and knowledge will give me the warm and fuzzies when I leave my position early next year. Same company, different role. Unfortunately, there are certain politics going on that need to be resolved before changes occur.
