Anybody know of any songs about rocks and minerals?

Could be kids music, could be something by a real band. Could be something in between like They Might Be Giants. Just needs to be suitable for kids.

Urgent question! Answers needed ASAP.

Didn't know of anything off hand, so I google-searched. The most promising thing I found was this:

Didn't do any sample listening or anything, but you can check it out and see if it might suit...

Yeah, I got nothing. I'm guessing School House Rocks didn't do a rocks and mineral song.

It's no different now - people trying to outdo ! each other in extremes. There are people who like X, and there are people who say X are wimps; they like Black Flag.

First thing I thought of was Blackalicious - Chemical Calisthenics

But it's probably not what you're looking for. It would be good for a chemistry class though.

Oh yeah, I think I told my mom about that Blackalicious track when I first heard. She teaches high school chemistry. I think she may have played it in one of her classes. (This rocks & minerals stuff isn't for her.)

Kingfish - I've only got that one School House Rocks covers comp, and there's nothing about rocks and minerals on there. There may be a School House Rocks song about that, though. I'm gonna look into that.

Theory - I checked out that link. That may work, but I don't know if anybody's actually going to be up for buying that CD set.
