Looks like this could be happening. Doubt US Cycling would be sending people to http://www.Richmond2015.com today if there wasn't something positive happening. Hopefully, it is indeed the World Road Championships. Hasn't been something that big in the US concerning world cycling since '86.

Well, its not exactly out of the range of reality since you guys have hosted stages of the Tour DuPont and other races previously. In a way, its a great locale because of the proximity to other east coast cities. As for the traffic situation--I grew up being filled with the thoughts that driving through Richmond was just about as bad as it could get. On our trips down 95 to Florida, my dad would avoid the city by any and all costs.
