I got:

The Book of Tapas Cookbook
The Essential New York Times Cookbook
The Bastianich Italy Sampler (including 4 cookbooks) and a Pannetone from Eataly
3 pretty sweet ties from Chipp 2 (pics of the best one to come)
2 awesome pairs of slacks for work/pimpin
A pair of hush puppies chukka boots in this suede/rust color
The re-released Ladies and Gentlemen The Rolling Stones and Stones in Exile DVDs

To spend Christmas with my inlaws and my mom, and a peaceful visit/lunch from dad and his wife.

A ton if stuff for the baby, and some cool stuff for FemGAR (including our trip to NYC).

Definitely more than I have earned or deserve.

I got a "World's Best Dad" magnet from my little guy.
Some nice new nonstick Calphalon frying pans from my parents.
And, that's about it.

Dress shirt, ties, etc. (really a bunch of shit that I'm returning).
$500
Leather band Victorinox watch
Overcoat that was originally meant for my sister-in-law's boyfriend but they broke up two days before xmas.

But the girls were the true winners in this year's christmas free for all. More toys and crap than our house can store.

Ehh, some of us understand the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, and have sown the wind and reaper the whirlwind of defeat and victory. Victory is better, but you can certainly understand you've won some kind of cosmic lottery with the type of year or 3 I've had recently.

AKA - Go fuck yourself if you ever think you know what the fuck is really going through my mind.

I was brought up to believe "put-on modesty" was a part of being well-mannered. Social graces and such.

Trek Belleville. Integrated 3 speed rear hub (no gears to get dirty!), integrated generator in the front hub to run the front and rear lights (no batteries to replace!), chain guard (no rolling my right pants leg!), baskets as far as the eye can see (beer run!), ... everything you need in the city to lug groceries and babies and shit. And it's still spotless, sadly, because we got blizzarded on like a motherfucker the day after, and shit's still all mucked up and icey out there.

nope I asked for it....

#8

I have no problem supporting a National League team, which is in no direct competition to the Yanks...

Should they meet in the WS, then Donnie Baseball must be humbled....Until that point, go Dodgers!

Combined Birfday/Christmas -mostly cash which was converted into:

New Ipod Classic to replace the one that crapped out a week before Christmas
Android X phone
A Henkel Chef's Knife with Sharpener and Blade Safe
A Burr Grinder
Hand Blender
Food Mill
A Shirt

Before My Ipod Crapped out on me I was thinking about signing up for Guitar Lessons and buying an Acoustic Guitar with some of the cash. I still may do this but now it would be mostly on my nickel as opposed to mostly on gifted cash.
