Can you tell me anything about this one?
Image
I found it in my crawl space over the weekend. Only difference is that the one that I found is 0.15 and has a blue-green background.
Found 3, actually. And they are all in perfect shape. Posted it at a stamp forum, too... just to see. But thought that i would ask here, too. Why not?

I'm not a stamp collector at all, but I can tell you that it's from Morocco.

Just the idea of a stamp forum makes me feel better about the time I spend here.

man, back in 89-92 when i put out a Death/Black Metal fanzine, i used to save all the stamps i got from traders around the world. i had hundreds of them from every corner of the planet. i gave them all to my ex girlfriends mom who was stamp collector.

regrets.

I used to collect stamps as a child. I might still have them somewhere. Fun times.

Did that. Found all the same links as you.
Although the ebay search is something that I did not yet think of, as I never use the site. Thanks.

My mom had a confederate army stamp that was pretty cool. It was worth a couple hundred bucks about 25 years ago. I assume she still has all my collector kits somewhere. I should ask her about them because my boy would love them.

yeah I thought about that, but there's no swastika on it and no actual symbols of the third reich or the party. I'm pretty sure that hitler's face or illustrations are safe. plus, those stamps are stored in every second stamp collection here in huge amounts. maybe you are not allowed to sell them.

The man in the stamp is Merouane Bouaziz.

He was the winner of the famous Marrakesh Zebra derby 11 times in a row between 1922 and 1933, making him a hero not just in Morocco but across North Africa. He latter fought in the Spanish civil war where he met and blackened the eye of Ernst Hemmingway during a card game. Orwell, who also met him describes him as an unsavoury character with odd sexual peccadilos that included large amounts of ostrich feathers being delivered to his hotel room in Barcelona.
Later he became a mogul of the date and fig industry which secured his fortune. He died at his luxury villa on the island of Capri in 1976 of a heart attack, so the rumours go during a threesome with actress Gloria Guida and and future Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

Looks like somebody at another music forum knew a little something:

You can buy a used copy from Stamps2Go for 25 cents - not a big payday but it's worth more than most of the other denominations from that series.

You seriously need to write more. Write a novel or something. I would absolutely read it.

Yeah right Todd. I should definately do that. You'll be telling me next that book shops are actually full of stories people just made up off the top of their heads and the most childish and proposteriously stupid ones are the very books that sell in the highest quantities. Well I'm not going to fall for your mocking praise, Mr. Joker.

No.
But I do like your sense of humour. And I think that your childish little stupid little boar stories are fun to read and think that you could probably sit down and write a book that I would read, if you wanted to.
