Is there any kind of rating system on that site so I'm not taking a complete shot in the dark on quality?

nope. but since you can stream the entire thing before pressing download, you can do your own quality check, which is better than whatever who-knows-who-from-who-knows-where thinks.

Gotcha. I just can't listen to music at work and my music listening is mostly done in the car, so I was looking for an easy way to get to some of the so-called better stuff.

yeah, I pretty much just ignore everything listed as "live" and focus on everything else. I pick a genre, pick a subgenre, then just browse. A lot of it is crap... but I found a few gems yesterday. (I'd say WHICH were gems, but I quite recognize that what I consider a "gem" and what the rest of this site considers a "gem" are two vastly different things).

You could tell us which ones so we know to skip those
