Have not see any talk of Blake's new band, (as far as I know) Forgetters.

I have their 4 song double 7 inch, which was a highlight of 2010 IMO...anyone ?

all i can say is i'm a fan of this release and have heard good things about them live.

but hasn't blake been in a bunch of bands that always toss out something awesome and then fade quickly?

I think you can get it on itunes for like 4.99. I have the vinyl double 7-inch and it came w/a download card that I preceded to misplace.

Yeah, the 7 inch is called "Too Small to Fail." It has been kicking my ass since it came out. I love all 4 songs. I wish that I knew what was happening with the Thorns of Life songs. It seems like they are being abandoned as Blake tries to make forgetters a new and distinct entity. Which is a shame, a lot of the songs on that bootleg Gilman St. Thorns of Life concert (wildly available on the internet) are really, really good. I particularly like Available, Ribbonhead, and From a Tower. Either way, I'm just glad that Blake's making music again.
