Boughts me some

Sly & Robbie - Riddim - best of 78-85 double cd 15$
Sly & Robbie - Off Duty - Dub Trans Specialists double cd 10$

both are great, this is the dub vein I like, does it get better?, in short it is like ambient reggae, and yes I have read the ol' cmj thread and familiar to some dub(Perry, Tubby), but does it get better than this in a roots dub sound?....FnB?

Travis - Good Feeling, listened in store and dug
Raadiohead - OK Comp. , I am a latecomer to them, but turned on by the Bends thanks to y'all(Amnesiac next?)

I want the new Luna(Rendezvous?), haven't found it yet, but i like the reviews so far, I always go back to this band's or Galaxie500's catalogue w/o disappointment, never over the top, but oddly nostalgic from the first listen

Kid A, chronologically. Although Amnesiac may be a gentler segue into the weirdness.

Amnesiac is way underrated imho, but what he said.

My Radiohead preference:
The Bends > Kid A > Amnesiac > OK Computer > I Might Be Wrong Live Recordings > Hail to the Thief > Pablo Honey

Eh, fuck it- I love 'em all.

puma youre so close to being correct but youre wrong nevertheless. Its

Kid A>The Bends > Amnesiac > OK Computer > I Might Be Wrong Live Recordings > Hail to the Thief >Pablo Honey

My Iron Lung EP is really quite good - it shows that the move from pablo honey to the bends wasn't so sudden. Plus its relatively cheap round here since it was an australian release.

Nah-uh, YOU'RE wrong. THE BENDS TAKE ALL!

And yeah the My Iron Lung EP & Airbag/How Am I Driving OOP EP (fuckin most expensive EP I've ever purchased damn it!) are also quite good.

The great thing about reggae/dub is if you dig around you will find stuff by people you've never even heard of which is absolutely brilliant. Recently I've discovered dubs by Jah Woosh, Dino Perkins, The X-ecutioners and King Iwah which are all superb.

You two are adorable with all your bickering, but in all seriousness, you're both wrong:

OKC > The Bends > Amnesiac > Kid A > HTTT > Pablo Honey

Come now, we all know:
Bends>OKC>My Iron Lung EP>Pablo Honey
Kid A & Amnesiac = Unlistenable and after that I never bothered to even listen to HTTT.

We can sit here and argue all day about which Radiohead album is the best, but I stick to what I believe in: THE BENDS

no it sucks. too boring, too simple, too many cliches, just not really an interesting bunch of songs

Kid A > OK Computer > The Bends > HTTF > Amnesiac >>>>>> Pablo Honey

You nailed it. I think Amnesiac is overlooked way too often. I actually like Amnesiac quite abit better than Kid A.

I think it's a GREAT album and if it had never been released, none of you Radiohead latecomers would've ever been exposed to them.

:? A dub thread got hijacked by people ranking Radiohead albums.

Ah what the hell...

OK Computer > Kid A > The Bends > Airbag EP > My Iron Lung EP > Amnesiac > Hail to the Thief > I Might Be Wrong > Pablo Honey

Sorry, that was my fault! I.just.couldn't.resist. ;) But there was a question about what to check out next after OKC.

And there is nothing wrong with Pablo Honey because true, if it weren't for Creep, I would have never been blessed with discovering Radiohead BUT I still like their other stuff better.
