Got a Purple Heart at Guadalcanal. He and his wife also helped make the Special Olympics what they are today. Not to mention Job Corps.

Pretty much the world is a better place because he was around. Hell, had I been of age I'd have probably voted for McGovern BECAUSE he was on the ticket.

One of the last of the true believers.
