Just saw this thread today. I will look into this (although there are other '11 releases that I have on my queue ahead of it).

Hey Bob,

I was looking at the schedule of a local venue and saw this band as playing tonight:

"THE FAMILY BONES
The Family Bones is a loose collection of musicians formed in late 2010 by Justin Webb. Webb's first band, The Webb Brothers, released three records on Warner Brothers to critical acclaim in the early 2000's and built a cult following throughout Europe, touring relentlessly with bands such as Doves, The Magic Numbers, The Eels, The Darkness, and OK GO, among others.

With this new project, The Family Bones, Webb expands upon the retro space-rock musings of his earlier career while paying homage to his long latent love for 70's AM soul. The resulting album is reminiscent in equal parts of The Beatles, The Stones, Harry Nilsson, and Bill Withers. The current live lineup features Webb, Cal Campbell, Jonny Polonsky, and Joey Ayoub."

I have no idea if they have any recordings and I don't plan to go but thought you'd appreciate the heads up to be on the look out....

Apparently I have reading comprehension problems....it says right in there ...."The Resulting Album"...so there must be recordings.
