Where's Monty with the official contest thread, I thought he usually manages this one?
I can start one later on today, if we are all in favor of continuing the tradition.

Does this question need to be asked every year?
Yes, for a CD. I certainly wouldn't want to win it in a year where we suddenly weren't playing for something of value.

College Football is played for pride, the Big Dance is all about CD's, although I'd settle for a bottle of craft beer if I won.

I'd be in for this but every state can be different. It's a felony offense to ship hooch out of the state here.

Of course, I could throw another wrench in the mix and make this international. Would prefer CD but happy with either.

I'm interested in the bracket regardless, but I'd like a tiebreaker clarified before Thursday. My suggestion: Since yahoo has winning and losing scores for the final, my suggestion would be total score as the first tiebreaker followed by winning score. If there's still a tie, losing score should also maintain the tie, so I'm happy with splitting the pot. Open to other ideas on this.

In. And I am sober. But I do much better in the football, so prolly no danger of my needing to turn down the hooch.

Here's the info Monty sent me, if you didn't get a PM as well on the group.

If that is not the official Obner group, I also created this one

Your group ID# is 125729 and your password is: jukeboxer

Edit:
I removed myself from the group I created, since Monty's is clearly the official group.

I entered. I won't win - but can it be LPs instead of CDs if I win (and of comparable price)?

I usually buy enough to get free shipping from Amazon, then forward on the disc myself for $1.60.

Edit: I seem to have to pay out frequently. :D

So we don't have to pick the play-in games, right?

correct...you can pick the winner of the play-in games, whoever that may be, to win the next game though.

I suppose we should have picked the winner of the play-in game (11 v. 11) to win the next four games.

Anyway, TwilightKid, give us your list.

There's a "Scenario Generator" that you can use to run all scenarios to see who wins.

Plus, I believe the main league page shows that you have more "Current" points than anyone else has "Potential" points...

I'm going off memory here, I'm too lazy to actually open up the league page right now.

Just did it....I guess I won! The generator is confusing too.
i tied in this a few years back, but my first outright win in 10 years of CMJ/Obner...

I'll have a list by Sunday or so...
