I liked her a lot at the time. Even went to see her at Double Door here in Chicago. But listening back to her one (admittedly huge) hit "I Know", it sounds sadly dated.
Still a definite talent that was sort of a pre-Lauryn Hill (who has also followed the template and disappeared).
A quick Google search shows that
she's still making music, but we sure as shit aren't hearing much about it, are we?
I'm gonna give the samples a listen, but has anybody else here kept up with Ms, Farris? Have any of her post-'95 albums?
