so, sister jessicas album is firmly in the top ten for me, and, not to be outdone, davids album is climbing up there. great country/americana, with help from the avetts. not sure if its been discussed yet.

David was also in Cadillac Sky who broke up immediately following a high-profile opening slot on the fall Mumford & Sons tour. Mayfield has a nice voice and is a fun-to-watch performer, but I haven't given the new album a shot. I should do that. I saw them at the Exit/In here in town early this month.
