One of those records where fins will like it but not gonna convince anyone new. Yeah, basically, it sounds like Moby, maybe a bit moodier than usual, but pretty much what you think of when you think of Moby. And really, I'd so far rate it (still on my first listen) somewhere mid-level for his catalog. It's not a smash that's gonna knock old favorites out of the running, but it's certainly not a throwaway like a couple of his have been. I'm fine with that and pleased enough to hear something new from the guy. If you are as well, go grab a listen, streaming for free on his site now.
