Well, as far as annoying me goes. Just dreadful.

My coworker plays their latest album once a week, and I instantly throw on headphones because I JUST CANNOT TAKE IT.

I like their singles, never bothered to listen to a whole album.

I enjoy their cover of 'I will Survive'.
everything else, not so much.

I don't think that I could tolerate an entire album.

It boggled my mind that their newest record debuted on Billboard's Top 200 at no.1

Didn't think their fanbase was that big.

Smaller numbers of folks are buying music.
Smaller samples get you quirkier results.

I also enjoy "I Will Survive" and can probably still tolerate listening to all of Fashion Nugget (I used to actually enjoy that whole album somewhat, but it's been a long time since I've tried to come back to it).

Surprised they are still around actually.

God I hate this fucking band so much...unfortunately I've seen them so many goddamn times thanks to weaseling their way onto bills I want to see and actually want to get a good vantage point as opposed to hanging in the back drinking.

I don't know their stuff. I've long steered clear since "I will survive" came out.

for the most part this is the way to go. the albums are just rehashed/filler songs in the same vein as the singles. just not as good.

I had a roommate who did this but with one of their earlier albums and it was a couple of times in a day. So fucking annoying.

I like a few singles and think I own one of their albums but haven't listened to them in ages.

i liked them for 3 months in around 1998

My wife would call them fightin words. One of her favorite bands. We saw them a couple years ago and they weren't too horribly bad. The singer gave a tree to an audience member.

At some point their status to me upgraded from Terrible to Tolerable.

I'm with the like-a-few-songs-rarely-listen-to-full-albums crowd.

I always thought they were a joke band but I can confirm that they do have a rather large and loyal fanbase.

Not a fan, not gonna defend them and agree that they'd be annoying to have to listen to in the workplace...that said, they're not close to being one of the worst bands ever. I'm pretty sure if I pulled 3 things randomly from Dalen's collection, I'd like Cake more than two of them.

"Prolonging The Magic" got quite a bit of critical love when it came out in '98. I remember the singles from it being pretty close to good.

Seems like they were on the iPod of one of the movers I hired back in September, who insisted we needed some music while we were packing. Others: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Matisyahu, Citizen Cope, 311, Primus...

That was a long day.

Citizen Cope. God, I haven't thought of that band in years.

Jack Johnson was in the mix too. I think I tried to block that out.

Comfort Eagle is a good album by them. I used to like it a lot, now I still think it's good, but haven't listened to it for a long time.
