Aphex Twin: Selected Ambient Works 85-92

If I posted this thing every time I listened to it, we'd all be good and sick of this post. An all-time favorite and one of the very best of its genre.

Telekinesis - 12 Desperate Straight Lines (Merge)

Another stellar offering from these dudes and another solid entry into the Merge catalog.

Not sure how long this'll stick around once the weather changes but this has been a pretty good companion to the summer so far. Solid power pop, in the loosest sense.

And also:
The Milligrams - Take Aurally
A very well-made album full of super catchy pop songs, all with an incredibly sophomoric sense of humor at the heart of it all. Bort, I'm thinking that this one is for you!
