Any fans? I just came to this through a tweet by Aquarium Drunkard which led me to a good write up on No Depression. AD described as Bobby Charles mixed w/ Link Wray.

I've only listened to Shootout at the OK Chinese Restaurant once but I'm enjoying it. Don't remember seeing it mentioned here before.

Had one of his songs from that album on one of the monger volumes from a couple years ago. You could save yourself some time by paying attention. ;)

The Monger Volumes are what - a 10 volume set? It's now a genre onto itself.

Well yeah, I can see that it's pretty hard to keep up with the mix forum's dizzying pace of a new post every couple weeks or so.
