...that the Stones are not only better than Coltrane, that the Stones are on par with Shakespeare and Beethoven (the red herrings this guy tried to create) in terms of longevity

It was funny and even I conceded the absurdity. Old Bloor may well be back.

Booze and smokes Bloor, or just pre-marriage and kid Bloor? You did post this in the early hours of Sunday.

More the latter than the former. I had had a couple beers but I'm still counted on to be the responsible one so that Mrs. Bloor gets home safe.

We'll see next weekend how new/old Bloor reacts to once familiar environs and the influence of 3 monsters.

We were at this restaurant called Founders down in Senoia.

The jazz dude was the keyboardist in the little combo they had playing. Not a brother. He did bum me a Nat Sherman though which was pretty cool.

Miles > Stones. But it's not an unreasonable discussion.

Restaurant was refreshingly good (especially for this part of the world). It's a little gimmicky, but they have Founders beer (no relation) on draft.

No complaints whatsoever with the food, and aside from the semi-trek down there i'd rate it a good spot worthy of a return engagement.

A pint of Dirty Bastard was good as hell and packed a nice punch.
