She was on season 4 or 5 of the West Wing, (which we're now finally going back and watching via netflix.) She looked almost exactly the same.

Olivia d'Abo has turned out gloriously. Math Ph.D. too, if I'm not mistaken.

It's Winnie who's the math wiz. d'Abo has always been quite the minx.

Winnie was in Season 4 of the West Wing, as Will Bailey's sister/writer/right-hand gal.

The music on the eps...do they sound like covers/impersonations? Something is amiss.

i haven't watched these on netflix, but all of these shows were nightmares for reairing because the rights had lapsed for the original music. (same thing that plagued "the state.") it's probably tied into that.

Yeah, hence no DVDs either. We've seen how horrible DVDs of shows can be without the original music (WKRP, 90210, etc).

I haven't watched yet.
Did you get an answer to your question? Does the netflix version have the original songs?

Based on some digging--the music on the netflix version (opens, didn't go too far into research) is different than the music that was broadcast with them on the Family Channel. The opening sounds like Joe Cocker, but who knows. The version of Blackbird that was in episode 2 or 3 was definitely just a cover.

Someone i know commented it's not Joe Cocker on the opening credits. Not sure about everything else.

The first thing I noticed was that the theme song was not Cocker's version...sounds a lot like his voice, but some of the notes are totally different.
