His band is criminally good, so if he's coming your way, i'd definitely go and check it out. Punch Brothers opened up, and they're really sick players as well, but not really my thing. Still, very impressive.

Paul Simon's band leader is a guy named Mark Stern. Played lead, rhythm, Bari sax, sopranino sax, some other things as well. Anyone know anything about him?

I've been meaning to check out his latest album. Reports are that it is on par with Graceland in terms of quality.

phil speaks the truth though. paul's band is amazing. the guitarist, i remember, is something else. if i'm not mistaken, he's been touring with versions of this band for a while?
