I've been on a real Matthew Good binge lately, but, oddly, i dont think ive ever seen him mentioned on Obner. Hes a Canadian Alt-rock musican that began making waves in the mid 90's. Since then he's been a fixture on Canadian radio, and while im not a big fan of what alt rock radio plays, or a fan at all, hes one of the quality acts that deserves the airtime he gets. He sings in a very emotional voice, has interesting and interospective lyrics, and, most importantly, knows how to craft hooks in a song. His first four albums were with the Matthew Good Band (best albums 'Underdogs' and 'Beautiful Midnight') before going solo as Matthew Good (best album - the most recent release 'Lights of Endangered Species'. He won a Juno for his album 'Vancouver'.
