DALLAS -- Albert Pujols has agreed to a 10-year, $250 million deal with the Los Angeles Angels, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Buster Olney on Thursday.

The deal includes a full no-trade clause, which Pujols had been seeking and may have been a sticking point in his negotiations with the Miami Marlins.

Pujols had turned down an offer from the Cardinals, the only team he has ever played for, about a year ago, but St. Louis was still in the bidding as of Wednesday.

He was 20 when he entered high-school as a "16 years old in grade 11", so, yeah, I'm saying he lied about his age.

no way pujols' body holds up more than another 2-3 years, right? he is already pretty fat. something is bound to break. seems like a really dumb signing to me. maybe they figure its worth it for the marketing aspect, but its a lot of damn money.

Pujols has maybe 3-4 really good years left, if that. Wilson's already been exposed as a fraud, though he'll only have to be a #3 for the Angels. They'll be really, really good for the next couple of years, but the Rangers can still hang.

Until they open the season 2-7, before closing May with an overall record of, say, 23-17, then lose another five consecutive, before getting to the All-Star break at 51-43, good for first in the AL West.
