this was from my dad's record collection and i used to stare at it all the time, imagining it was some mystical waterpark and trying to figure out what that red thing was.

This one scared me and drew me in all at the same time:

I knew the songs on there, of course, but they were made all the more magical and imposing because of the artwork that accompanied them.

I wouldn't use the word magical, but I was pretty freaked out by an Alice Cooper album cover when I was 6 or so, and I think this was it...

Scared the hell out of me and sucked me in all at once.
They had that image as a choice at the local iron-on t-shirt store. I wanted it so badly, but the 8-year-old me really had no clue if I could handle having it on my person, let alone in my drawer when I went to sleep at night.
