I got to go see the Doves play in NYC at the Bowery Ballroom last night, and it was the best damn concert I had seen in quite some time. It was so good that I actually forgot I was holding my beer for like 30 minutes and by the time I remembered I had it, it was already warm. But man they were awesome.

Some band I had never heard of (The Magic Numbers) opened and actually they were pretty good too, so all turned out well.

I sure was....

Started off at Hi-Fi on 11th and A. Then made my way up St. Marks to Dumpling Man, then a little CD shopping....

I just grabbed some tix for the Chicago show in May. Looking forward to that one. Guess Mercury Rev is opening which is cool.

Ha!! This took me a second for the lightbulb to go on -- too funny, Dov!

Can't wait to see The Doves and Magic Numbers next week.
