my friend and i are to DJ a party this weekend for a friend who's coming home.

i have my standard material that i've relied on for years as far as dancing goes, but i need to mix it up.

any recommendations would be fantastic, especially specific songs.

i'm looking for some newer stuff, but something older that i might not know about would be awesome as well.

What kind of dancing stuff? Cuz when I think dancing, I immediately think of house or techno.

Because when I think dancing I think either booty rap or 80's dance stuff.

hmm, as for clarification...
80s dance stuff is fine. booty rap is fine. i'll be playing plenty of that. i also like to spin some funk and motown when i can.

i'm thinking of newer stuff that i have heard from worm is green, franz ferdinand, and the like.

so i'm just basically wondering if there is anything new in the world of indie dancy stuff.

but again, if there is a song that makes you shake your ass wherever you are and it isn't in that category, please tell me.

that said, i think i'm breaking out house of pain.
