I got coffee with Tift Merritt today. It was cool.

She did an in-store at Music Millenium when I was tehre, and I stuck around between classes, and asked which coffee shop was good, and we went to one down the street with her guitarist. Then I had take the streetcar back to class. But still, that's pretty cool.

she's a cool lady. i got used to seeing her around when i lived in north carolina, so it feels good that she's got a solid little career going now.

haven't seen her in a few years, but when i was in high school, yeah, she was a pretty hot number.
