There is still a lot of albums I have yet to hear, thanks to all the 2011 lists which have preceded me. I figured I'd better put my list out there, before February.

1. Decemberists - The King is Dead
2. The Head and the Heart - The Head and the Heart
3. The Mountain Goats - All Eternals Deck
4. Feist - Metals
5. Death Cab - Codes and Keys
6. Lykke Li - Wounded Rhymes
7. Girls - Father, Son, Holy Ghost
8. Daniel Romano - Sleep Beneath the Willow
9. Des Ark - Don't Rock the Boat, Sink the Fucker
10. Centro-Matic - Candidate Waltz
11. Smith Westerns - Dye it Blonde
12. The Civil Wars - Barton Hollow
13. Hayes Carll - KMAG YOYO
14. The Strokes - Angles
15. British Sea Power - Valhalla Dancehall

The four albums I was most looking forward to all disappointed me - PJ Harvey, Tom Waits, Radiohead, and Wilco.

Like Decemberists and Lykke Li up high. Didn't give the Feist enough spins, and British Sea Power didn't do much for me. Also like the title track on Codes and Keys, but the rest didn't stick.

Really to assimilate that Girls record.

Finally, the list that I have been waiting for. I haven't heard any of these so I will begin checking them out ASAP.

i really dug The Head and The Heart live, but was so disappointed when i finally sat down to listen to the album afterwards. the energy is just not there. also, they should let the chick sing more.
