I probably wouldn't be able to stop myself from saying something, though I'd try to be as polite as I could in the process. It is no less annoying to other people than a group of passengers standing up and singing the score from the HMS Pennafore. Not just because it's religious in nature, or that its their religion. You have a reasonable right to expect quiet and courtesy on a plane.

This highlights the issue of "captive audience." The same reason restaurants don't let people come in and meander from table to table trying to sell jewelry or cd's or shit... those people were not assembled there to be your captive audience to advertise to (unless you are the airline in this case.) They paid to be there for other reasons.

There isn't any word of whether this was the entire flight, or if this was just a one-off thing. Also, it looks like most of the flight was made up of the chorus. Are you sure this wasn't a chartered plane trip? I also have to wonder if some people heard they were in a chorus and asked them to sing. Who put this video up originally? The site or someone on the plane that was annoyed by the singing?

oh, if it was just the chorus on the flight then fine, but if it wasn't, this would just be insanely obnoxious.

It looked to me like most of the flight wasn't singing along. I was hoping the lady with the headphones around her neck would plop them over her ears and crank up her iTouch.

I would assume this would mean that as soon as they finished their song I would be allowed to crank up a song of my choice and let the rest of the plane enjoy it with me... regardless if they actually liked whatever music I felt like playing or not.

i might be worried that the plan had crashed and this was the beginning of the next life...but overall i would be delighted if something like this happened on a plane ride.
i don't care if it's religious or if it interrupts my precious book reading or napping time.
it's pretty entertaining and a break from the normal boring waiting sleeping bullshit.
if you can't handle a brief interruption like this, you are probably a miserable prude to fly with.

but to the same point in my opinion you are not "wrong" to kindly tell these folks to fuck off... that's your freedom ..and that would also add to my plane ride story.
