Thanks. Since leaving the paper I've been writing my ass off, and this is the next step. Today feels so great.

If any y'all wanna do me a solid and "Like" the story on the page or retweet (both links are right above my byline) it'd help me get some good social media juice and - I hope - get some more at-bats with them.

As to the future of the space, not sure. It's been bought by a local realty firm, but no plans announced. Talk was a 3-4 story boutique hotel, but that's apparently off. Alamo Drafthouse bought bldg next to it for their new company HQ and some street-level retail. Some talk that the owner will keep the small room a music space.
Time will tell.

First off, how the hell is everyone? My leisure Internet-ing has cut way back since I started a new marketing gig in October, which is why I've been scarce around these parts. Since then I've met Jasmine/red in person purely by chance at a b'fast diner in Austin (and again on Red River a couple nights later), attended Cory's engagement party, wrote my ass off during SXSW, checked in on Phil after he cheated death again, and had brunch w/ Mowery (along w/ my mother). Life's been good.

I've been writing for RS, Spin and lots of other outlets, and I've even got my own index page on rollingstone.com;
