This is one of the best things I've read since that Charles Barkley apocalypse RPG thing.

I was reading Transworld Skate and Thrasher when the Nintendo Power era was big.

i went on a super punch-out tear a few years back. took me like 2 months to beat it and then i kept going through most of the fighters trying to get the fastest times.
