There was a mention of them in the power pop thread and am curious.

I know nothing of them other than hearing their name in passing in various discussions.

Radcliffe's big on 'em. I've got two albums, which are better than "nice" but not better than "pleasant" (if that makes any sense). Nothings stands out as memorable, but it won't make you run to turn it off either.

I like them quite a bit. Radcliffe introduced them to me on a couple of mixes he sent me. I'm not sure they meet my definition of power pop, though.

Gingersol is a great band - though they're not really a band. For all intents and purposes, Gingersol is made up of singer/songwriter Steve Tagliere and multi-instrumentalist/producer Seth Rothschild. They're originally from L.A., but recently relocated to NYC. If I was gonna try to describe them, I'd suggest imagining Elliot Smith's attempt to rewrite the Replacements' Don't Tell A Soul. In other words, expect tuneful, introspective, mellow, guitar-driven rock with a raspy voiced singer.
