New Van Morrison album and i havent seen any discussion of it here, and a new Van Morrison album definitely deserves discussion on a music forum.

Its a really good album, been listening to it a lot lately. Warm and Jazzy, with a lot of horns and everything i like about Van Morrison. All the tracks are good, it holds well together as an album. Hes been really strong late in his career - for me 1999's Back on Top is the best album hes ever done.

Anybody else heard the album?

Have not heard this new one.

Thanks for the heads up.
I have always been a fan of his mid to late career output. No Gurus or Poetic Champions Compose up to Hymns is a great run of decent material. I've got Days Like This, Healing Game, Back on Top all good as well, which have the same feel and groove of his mid career run. I'd say the main difference is they are less metaphysically concerned and more often straight forward lyrically.

I think I saw it in Starbucks and just immediately dismissed it for A) being in Starbucks and B) having a terrible cover.

Petty but true. I'm sure I'll give it a cursory listen if I come across it.

and most of all, C) Having an unforgivably bad title.

Glad to hear it's good, though.
