I have 6 and some by the even longer name on vinyl.

This is hard but had to go with The Slider.

It is a tough one, but I went with The Slider too.

I hate these questions but I chose Electric Warrior.

I'm actually a huge fan of Futuristic Dragon. Have been for a long while. But it's not my number one favorite.

Own FD but never really listen to it. EW is a classic and I love Tanx as well.

Tough one but I went with EW on the merits of the grooves of "Mambo Sun" and "Planet Queen" alone.

Electric Warrior

Slider is close.

You should have included Beard of Stars. I like it better than the s/t.

I need to pick up Tanx at some point.

There were three or four albums by Tyrannosaurus Rex (own Unicorn) but I only listed album with the shorter name. The reason is because at first it was more of an acoustic thing, from what I remember. It wasn’t until the name became T. Rex that he plugged in and glamed out.

I like Slider the most because of the production on that album. More rock and roll and doesn’t have as immediate songs on it but it squeaked by Electric Warrior barely.

I was just poking fun. "Slider" wins based on the title track alone, it perfected the "groove" that permeates EW. Add "Buick MacKane" and "Telegram Sam" to the mix and it's no contest in my book.

the slider, slight edge. i've always felt that electric warrior kinda drags after midway through the B-side. there's a little scratch during "telegram sam" on my slider, but it was a much more worthwhile dig than settling on a re-issue of electric warrior. although, that one does sound pretty awesome.

T'ain't true. I like the EW/Slider/Tanx triumverate fairly equally. EW maintains a cool, slinky mood, and Slider may be Bolan's apex for crafting the pop song, but Tanx is the sparkling, decadent glam/soul jewel in the T.Rex catalogue.

I only own Unicorn and it fucking rules.

Yes, it is a acoustic affair, but you could see where Bolan was headed.
