Step 1: Find old painting.
Step 2: Remove old paint.
Step 3: Add new paint.
Step 4: Masterpiece

A friend of mine posted this on FB yesterday. This actually is awesome.

Like, for one thing, it's a 19th Century fresco, not some Renaissance masterpiece. It had probably never been restored because nobody really cared about it until now. And now it's cool as shit. It's like a mildly disturbing Munch painting.

A part of me agrees with you--at least on the point of any artistic/monetary value.

If they left it as-is, perhaps the Spanish hipsters would start going to church. I mean, they'd be all over this faux-crayon Scream-thing.

Looks like the cover art for the first SHAT record.

About three years ago, maybe four, saw Travis Keller in a shoot for NYLON. & I tittered, knowing what he & Aaron North (ex-Icarus Line, ex-Nine Inch Nails) would have written on the BH Gossip Page about, say, the guy from Korn doing a NYLON shoot in 2002. Then, I realized what condescending, hypocritical shitheads TK & AN were, & got angry. Then, I remembered Axl riding his dunebuggy & all was good, again.

This is truly fucking brilliant. Post it to your failbook page and start taking orders for stickers and posters.

What Loogs said. But do it fast because we will steal it if you don't.

Did you buy the factory that does make them, and then saddle the company with debt, then take it to bankruptcy all the while filling your own pockets, though?
