Flipping through Rolling Stone:

1. Makes me want to kill all living things:

A picture of Fred Durst on a date with Paris Hilton while Durst sports A FUCKING SMITHS SHIRT. Bastard fuck bastard.

2. Makes me go "that is so ungodly awesome:"

An ad for the Bose iPod. You just set the iPod into the Bose cradle like you're recharging a cordless phone or something. I so want one.

I think he's just wearing the shirt to get some cred. He probably couldn't name 5 Smiths songs off the top of his head.

Yeah, it's creepifying when the asswipes start claiming camraderie with the artists who loathe them.

Durst types beat up Moz types every day in junior high and high school. The ex-bullies who try to hang with you at your 15th high school reunion.

But that Bose iPod looks awesome. I'll see if I can find a pic.

I got one of these for Christmas and they are indeed awesome. Probably one of the best xmas gifts I have gotten in a long time. Best part is it charges it while you play it and it has a remote. Plus it's Bose and the sound quality is damn good and loud.

Yours for only 12 easy monthly payments of $69.95, I'll bet.

That Bose stuff is so expensive, they won't even tell you the price in the ads, usually.

Call NOW!!!!

I like the iPod docking system/speakers that look kinda like a flyer saucer...it's round, with speakers all around. Dunno who makes it, though.

I've been pricing these---I'm gonna pick one up in the next few weeks. I've seen them from $249-299.

Hey Rick Derris----do these really sound that good? Can they fill a large living room adequately?

Yeah, April birthday here too---I've just come right out and told my wife this is what I want. No need to beat around the bush.

How so? Was Cobain the Durst in that scenario, or the Morrissey?

I could see your point either way. That's all.

The Tivoli iPal is pretty great, too - I got it for my wife for Christmas - the only con that I can think of is that it is a mono speaker.

Don't give Durst that much credit- what is he 5'2''?

I've got this iPod setup. It's quite a bit cheaper and definitely good enough, I think.

Kurt had an intense hatred of jocks and tough guys who would make fun of him and pick on him throughout his school. When they started coming to the shows and singing along to songs that were about how much he hated them, it was just part of his desperation to get out of the spotlight.

Um Yes. The sound is great. I've never owned a Bose product that didn't sound good. It gets pretty freakin loud. I'm talking loud enough to come home at 3am drunk as shit with some ruffians and blast it only to have the neighbors threaten to call the cops if you didn't turn it down.

I live in an apt. comlex though. They hate me.
