got around to putting a comp of the vibrators together, tell me how bad it is 'cause I left out the early years, I kind of like the mats vibe I get from this mix

I really like the Vibrators. I've mostly listened to the first couple records though. One of my most listened to records of all time is a Vibrators compilation. Batteries Included is culled mostly from the first two albums and it kicks ass.

Seafoam, that mix is pretty good. Back in the day I made the mistake of thinking the Vibrators could put out something as good as Pure Mania, and subsequently wasted money on some of their wretched follow-ups. The band STILL owes me money for buying Alaska 127 (or whatever the fuck it was called).

Anyway, you've uncovered a few gems, usually only marred by headscratching production choices and a mix that puts weak vocals way out front of the band. It's still not enough to make me reappraise the band as a one shot wonder, but it's not shitty either.
