Any of you songwriters done this before? Who did you use?
I've placed some songs in online music libraries, but for what I want to do with them (get a recording artist to record them) it doesn't seem like the most effective way to go. Music "pitchers" charge up front, usually too damn much. And, I'm just not sure how to go about getting folks' attention in a very crowded marketplace.

Trying a couple of personal contacts, but I am really hoping that the couple of you who may have done this before might have a bit o' wisdom to share.
