Dude there is a tree in the park next to my house that looks like it has a 1-foot cock growing on the side of it.

After never running out of gas from the time I got my learner's permit at 14, I've run out of gas 3 times in the past 3 years - and TWICE since November....including this morning in the middle of the woods in Russell County, AL.

Every now and then I just have to stop and say "thank you" to Radcliffe for turning me on to the band ©. They continue to kick my ass every time I listen to them.
So, consider this (another) public thank you.
Thanks!

Holy shit. Don't think I ever have, yet. Not as many chances to these days, but then again maybe driving rarely makes it easier to forget to keep an eye on it.

This was the most interesting thing I read this year.

Since the 1990s, violent crime has been on a steep decline and no one really knows why. Here is an article making a pretty convincing case that it might be explained by the discontinuation of leaded gasoline.

how is that possible, assuming most companies pay in 2-week arrears? seems like a check cut today would be for work done in 2012...

seems like one of those oh i'm gunna complain now because taxes things

Going out with a chick from Alabama. I wish she had some kind of pitch control dial so I could get her talking speed up by 8%.

Remember to ask for steel wheel weights next time you get the tires balanced- now that paint and fuel are more or less sorted thrown lead ones are a biggish chunk of remaining environmental exposure!

Dudes, dishwashers are supposed to be cleaned. They don't wash themselves. We've been here 4 years so this was a fairly disgusting discovery.

It's funny how the liberal media made no big deal at all that Obama lowered taxes, but is now making a big deal about him returing that tax back to the pre-Obama level. And it was never once called the Obama Tax Cut. Well it's funny to me at least.

We have a friend from h.s. whose last name is Schwach ("shwok"), and he did this so much we call it "schwaching." Still use it regularly when someone starts a story and lingers, waiting for you to beg for details. STOP SCHWACHING.

I de-friended someone because all her posts sounded like they were written by a 15 year old girl. She is 38.
