maybe...you just were...not paying attention?

btw, what are your initial thoughts on that Jim James? i was pretty disappointed at first, but have warmed up after repeated plays.

Not disappointed, just need to listen to it again. I haven't hated anything MMJ has done, and I dig his voice, so unless he makes a total clunker like his MoF bro M.Ward did last year, I'll dig it.

Yeah, I guess I wasn't paying attention, which is weird because I usually try to check out stuff you post about.

Yo La Tengo - Fade

Probably the best 2013 release I've heard so far (which is few). They just keep cruising along and this, at first couple of spins, is shaping up to possibly be a late career highlight.

Bee Gees - 2 Years On

This is a very nice and oftentimes beautiful album. I really think a lot of the Bee Gees' pre-disco stuff is overlooked/underrated.

The Hendersons - Indian Summer

On to some new stuff. This is a newish band out of Fort Worth who have a 60s pop inspired sound, with a little psychedelia thrown in. It does remind me at times of the earlier Bee Gees, but also some Beach Boys and Kinks too.
