my project [slow/dynamite] has a show on the 27th [all improv loops/noise/percussion] and i'm thinking it might be nice to add a 2nd drummer. it's currently me on loops/noise/drums & my friend on gtr/noise/loops/etc.
my plan is NOT to lug an entire drum kit or 2nd kit down there. i'll prob just bring a floor tom/snare/cymbal and play it like a bastardized coctail kit. looking for maybe something similar.
the music is going to prob alternate between quiet/fuzzed out noise passages & all out pounding the hell out of my drums.

is anyone remotely interested in this sort of thing? i'd really like to destroy this place.

i know a guy who plays ill drums...and then there's this other shmuck who could probably do some simple little drummer boy esque stuff.

a second kit would be a pain in the ass...i could do more of cyro baptista kind of improvised kid with some tablas and other stuff. let me know via pm.

hey, i appreciate the offer, i'm still debating whether or not to bring a second setup with me seeing as they already have a housekit & i would have almost nothing to move since my other 'noise' rig is basically a 15w amp & a suitcase full of mystery. chances are we're just going to forge ahead with the setup as it currently is and see what sort of destruction we can rain down on what i can only assume is going to be a gang of four tribute night or something.

hahaha, i know, i know.
the thing is it's just me & my friend, & the original plan was to have 2 coctail style setups. but since they have a housekit, i figured it might not be such a pain in the ass [for me, anyhow] to add an extra floor tom/snare setup.
